Costa Rica Travel Form

If you are arriving on Aug 31st you have the option to add an extra day of diving to your trip on September 1st. The cost of adding this extra day is $85 for a 2 tank local diving trip. You can make it a 3 tank dive for $110 if at least 4 people are interested. If you are arriving on Aug 31st please indicate your preference below.

You can add a third dive to any of your days for an additional $25 per day. This dive is completed following your first two dives and will result in you getting back to the resort approximately an hour and a half - 2 hours later than if you were doing two tank dives which on local days will mean 1:30-2:00. Bat Islands closer to 3:00 (lunch provided on the boat on the Bats trip)

The Bat Islands is a protected marine park off of Costa Rica's coast. It is an approximately 50 minute boat ride to the first dive site. This is also the location where you have a good chance to see bull sharks and manta rays. There is an additional cost of $80 for visiting this dive location per dive day. This includes the National Park Entrance fee and a small Costa Rican style lunch between dives. This dive site is recommended to be advanced divers as it can be around 80 - 100 feet and can have quite strong currents at the first dive site. There are no mooring lines at any of the dive sites in this area so you are forced to do a free descent and ascent with no line for safety stops. Surface marker buoys are also strongly recommended for this trip.
