Ready to hunt for California Spiny Lobster or spearfish the pristine kelp forests of Catalina Island? Join us for an incredible weekend liveaboard trip tailored for underwater hunters and sport divers alike! We are partnering with the famous Pacific Star, a premier 65-foot custom dive vessel operating out of San Pedro.

Boarding starts Friday night so we can maximize our time in the water all day Saturday and Sunday morning. Spaces are strictly limited on this liveaboard adventure—grab your spot today!

Trip Itinerary & Logistics:

  • Oct 18th (Boarding Night): Arrive at the San Pedro marina (22nd Street Landing) by 8:00 PM. Board the vessel, set up your gear, and sleep comfortably on the boat while it’s docked in the marina.

  • Oct 19th: Lines away early in the morning! We head across the channel to Catalina Island for a full day of spectacular diving and lobster hunting.

  • Oct 20th: Wake up at the island, dive until noon, and then enjoy the cruise back across the channel. We will arrive back at the San Pedro marina between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to pack up and head home.

What’s Included:

  • Accommodations: 2 nights of traditional, cozy bunk-style lodging onboard the Pacific Star (common sleeping areas/staterooms with privacy curtains).

  • All Meals & Drinks: Hearty, hot meals served sit-down style in the galley, plus snacks, sodas, and water throughout the weekend.

  • Dive Essentials: All air fills, tanks, and weights are fully included.

  • Crew Gratuity: Boat crew tips are already taken care of in your package price!

What’s NOT Included / What You Need:

  • Licensing: If you plan to take lobster or spearfish, you must purchase a valid California Short-Term Sport Fishing License (2-day pass is $32.40) and a Lobster Report Card/Tag prior to boarding. Licenses and tags must be reported back to the CDFW even if nothing is caught.

  • Scuba Gear: Divers must bring all of their own personal scuba equipment (BC, regulators, exposure suit, computer, and harvesting tools).

  • Transportation: Travel to and from the San Pedro marina.

Important Note: Bunks on the Pacific Star are first-come, first-served upon boarding Friday evening. Please ensure you have your California fishing license and lobster validation ready to go before we leave the dock!
