Escape to San Carlos: June 25th – 28th Experience the rugged beauty where the Sonoran Desert meets the turquoise waters of the Sea of Cortez. San Carlos is Arizona’s favorite “backyard” dive destination, offering vibrant marine life, stunning underwater topography, and world-class encounters.

The Diving We are partnering with Ocean Sports to bring you the best of the region. Your trip includes 7 dives across two days:

• Friday: A 4-tank day exploring the diverse coastal reefs and local wrecks.

• Saturday: A 3-tank adventure to San Pedro Nolasco Island (conditions permitting). This is the highlight of the trip, where you’ll interact with a massive colony of curious California sea lions and explore crystal-clear waters teeming with tropical fish.

Accommodations Relax between dives at the Marinaterra Hotel & Spa. Nestled in the heart of San Carlos, the hotel offers comfortable air-conditioned rooms, a beach club, and easy access to the marina and local dining, all under the iconic backdrop of Tetakawi Mountain.

Itinerary

• Thursday, June 25th: Arrive in San Carlos in the evening. Check-in and enjoy a free evening to explore the town or relax by the pool.

• Friday, June 26th: Full day of diving! We’ll head out for 4 dives, exploring the rich biodiversity of the Sea of Cortez.

• Saturday, June 27th: Head offshore for 3 dives at “Seal Island” (San Pedro Nolasco). Expect playful sea lion encounters and spectacular visibility.

• Sunday, June 28th: Enjoy a final breakfast in Mexico before the drive home.
