From beautiful wreck dives, to colorful reefs, to impressive wall dives, you will find it in Grand Cayman. The really unique part about exploring the Caymans via liveaboard is that you will get to explore Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac so long as the weather permits.
Why Visit The Cayman Islands
The Cayman Islands are a British overseas territory set in the Caribbean only a short flight from many airports in the US. They are comprised of 3 islands. Grand Cayman, Little Cayman and Cayman Brac. Grand Cayman is home to the vast majority of the population as well as the international airport as well as most of the hotels and resorts. The other two islands are much less visited than Grand Cayman but hold some of the best reefs and marine life off of their shores.
When To Visit
The Cayman Aggressor runs year round. The diving as well as the sea conditions are very good throughout the year with the exception of when a big storm is passing through.
Diving Conditions
The water temperatures are fairly constant throughout the year, ranging from 75-85 degrees. When going on a liveaboard we still recommend for a full 3mm suit as the repetitive dives can leave you chilled by the end of the day if you aren’t wearing any exposure gear.
Price Of Diving The Caymans
As far as liveaboard destinations are concerned, the Caymans is certainly one of the more affordable options. With the fact that it is located so close to the United States with a number of flight opportunities from several cities, the cost of the entire trip can be quite reasonable.
