SDI IDC September 15-22nd 2017 With Saguaro Scuba
Have you ever considered making scuba diving more than just a hobby? Consider taking the next step and becoming an SDI Instructor with Saguaro Scuba. We have an IDC beginning September 15th and running until September 24th. After completing your IDC and passing your exam, you will be able to certify Students around the world.
This comprehensive course will introduce you to all aspects of working as a dive professional. You will learn about the retail side of the business. The importance of establishing great relationships with customers, product placement, making orders from manufacturers, etc. You will learn the basics of boat operations and how to be a competent hand on dive vessels which you could very well be teaching from. You will also learn some great methods for teaching the skills necessary for scuba diving to new students. Learn how to schedule and complete a dive certification course. Finally you will also learn about servicing and maintaining some of the essential dive equipment. Following this IDC you will be well prepared to begin you career as a dive professional and will be employable at any SDI affiliated shop around the world.
The IDC takes place during the evenings from 5pm-10pm during the week and then full days starting at 8am on the weekends. Your time will be split between Classroom,Pool and Lake.
